The rising producer Acidgigi delivers his first solo EP on our label.
A brave debut during the toughest times for the electronic scene, yet
an anthem to the desire to be part of the world of clubbing.
The EP shifts towards a cinematic sound with UK garage inflections,
hypnotic voices and a tasteful breakbeat lure.
Everything leans on a dark wave sensation that does not allow to fully
understand Acidgigi.
Remix by Closet Yi is a collaborative joining between transonic
synthesizers from the original track with configurative plots of old
school bass lines and abstract effect automations. Embracing the deep
sounds of Juno and other instruments dissolved into AcidgigiΓÇÖs own
production, Closet kept the original subtleness but gave a darker
twist so it can find a nice balance within the whole EP.
Feeling that the key elements of ΓÇÿHypersomniaΓÇÖ is the dreamy elements
of the synths which both suits well for a night-time runner and day-
