Released in the fall of 1991 during the height of "Seattle mania," SAP's mellow mood couldn't have been more different from the red-hot rock releases by such heavy hitters as Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Pearl Jam. Surprisingly, the acoustic sound fits Alice In Chains well, as evidenced by such strong compositions as "Brother" and "Got Me Wrong" (both featured guest Ann Wilson of Heart on back-up vocals). But the EP's undisputed highlight is the moody "Right Turn," which features cameo vocal spots by the great Chris Cornell from Soundgarden and Mudhoney's Mark Arm.
