What started a few years ago as a label for Tall Paul signed acts specialising in pumping UK house now puts out quality underground and progressive house music. I never used to be a big fan of Tall Paul or his label roster but if they keep the quality this high I may be convinced. The new signing is Alison Marks, an up and coming UK female DJ and producer (even though she's been around for donkey's years). She was the first female DJ to win Muzik's infamous Bedroom Bedlam competition in 1996 and now her remixes and productions are popping up all over the place. The Original Mix stays true to Duty Free traditions by being a melodic trancer, nothing we have not heard before but it's executed in a very professional manner. The Laundry Mix (possibly a reference to her bi-monthly party at Renaissance of the same name) is a deeper and dubbier affair, more on a housey vibe. I like it much better and it can easily show up in sets of DJ's like Lawler, Tenaglie or even Digweed.
