"Optimism In Slow Motion" is the 11th solo album by Norwegian composer
and artist Anders Br├╕rby. It was created and recorded over a period of
seven years , and in many ways it feels like a summary of the various
musical paths Br├╕rby has been through with his previous albums during
these years. The basics of these recordings often started as something
very different, then slowly taking shape into what would eventually
become a clear and pure vision . At some point it became clear that
the organic recordings would form the base of this music. Acoustic
recordings, often picked apart - then gently being rebuilt into new
shape after slowly experimenting and improvising with laptop and
modern electronics. This music is not meant to be cold or distant, but
warm and close - demanding attention and repeated loud listening to
discover the melodies and details within. Much of the music was
written and recorded during warm summer evenings, and for Br├╕rby this
is music for those fuzzy and hypnotic
