A regular contributor to the quarterly Particles compilation series, Andrew Benson from the city of Cherkessk represents a new generation of talented producers forged from within the vast Russian borders. Never one to settle upon his laurels, Andrew's talent has evolved consistently since his first work for Olaris in 2010. Pushing the boundaries of creativity, Benson prefers not to be confined by one particular style or genre with each track driven by deep, passionate emotions and life experiences. Supplementing solo work of the quality of Underwater and I Will Be with co-production work alongside Asten and Ad Brown, Andrew Benson now returns to Particles with a track first appearing on the Summer Particles 2013 compilation, as the deep pulsating progressive pearl that forms Dope is now bonded with two remixes from South America and Northern Europe. Argentinean, Demian Moreno follows Andrew Benson's footsteps in providing the EDM community with a new rising star from a country filled with superstar DJs and producers. With his work already supported by fellow countryman, Hernan Cattaneo, Moreno has grown in notoriety since his first work for Balkan Connection in 2010 and which has flourished further with work featuring among the catalogues of Bermudos and Progressive House Worldwide. Indeed, a recent remix of the Inkfish's For Life alongside Loquai and Blood Groove and Kikis has shone a bright light upon the talents of Moreno. Making his debut for Particles, Demian Moreno has provided a deep, sultry remix of Dope full of deep house sensibilities combined with a beautifully crafted melodic vibrancy and crystalline lead that is engraved upon the throbbing pads and bass with skill and sensitivity. Dutchman Joost van der Vleuten under his Namatjira guise is the final contributor to the Dope EP. Stemming from a passion for music from an early age and work in a local radio station, van der Vleuten has gone on to make a significant mark on the cutthroat trance industry with works signed to Cold Harbour and Armada. Feeling that, under his Namatjira production pseudonym, he should concentrate on a new style of deep progressive house, following the type of music played by Digweed, Cattaneo and Sasha, Joost hasn't looked back. Success was immediate and since 2010 the Namatjira name has featured on the catalogues of Mistique, Lowbit and Spring Tube Limited. Marking a debut for Particles with the sublime Broken Butterfly as part of the Summer Particles 2012 compilation, a deserved full release sees remixes from Blend and Andrew McDonnell while his remix of Stephen J. Kroos' Amygdala provided a further highlight. Taking on Dope, the Namatjira remix is full of the deep progressive sensibilities that form the foundations of his approach. A crisp percussive rhythm provides a skipping background for a delightful melodic refrain to trip effortlessly over proceedings creating a joyous outcome that is certain to please. A dosage of dopamine producing music synthesised from a trio of global producers has ensured that Andrew Benson's Dope is the perfect catalyst for musical innovation.
