The group's line-up eventually also included a third brother, Al Barker (guitar), plus Del Crabtree on trumpet. The group's bassists were Charlie Luciano (original line-up), then Crabtree, Dave Harris (1991), Lenie Mets (1991-3), Anthony Coote (1993-6) and Terry De Castro (2000-1). Animals That Swim released their first single, "King Beer" in 1992 on their own Beachheads In Space label, but came to wider attention with their next two singles, "Roy" (which took the form of an imaginary conversation with the ghost of Roy Orbison) and "50 Dresses". The group won critical acclaim for their mixture of "slice of life" lyrics and magic realism, and their distinctive use of the trumpet as a lead instrument. This is their first album. _______________________________________________________________________ 01-How To Make A Chandelier [02:09] 02-Smooth Steps [03:28] 03-Roy [04:05] 04-Pink Carnations [03:02] 05-St Francis [04:18] 06-Action At Tescos [00:24] 07-King Beer [04:10] 08-Barney [03:19] 09-Susie's Friends [03:17] 10-Madame Yevonde [03:16] 11-Vic [01:50] 12-Silent Film [02:47] 13-Sway With Me [02:11] ------- 38:16 min
