Anna Gram is a DJ, producer and dance-floor devotee based in
Glasgow. She is a long-standing resident of the hugely popular
queer party 'Shoot Your Shot' and one half of the beloved DJ duo
LEZZER QUEST. Weaving her magic across genres, with no two sets
ever sounding the same, her love of uplifting and melodic music
is always at the forefront of her selections. From italo, trance
and breaks, to synth-wave, hardcore, and techno Anna is a DJ who
is unafraid to take risks, and her performances are always
centred on joy, humour, and the connective energy of the club.
On the 'As I Drift Away' EP - her first on Permanent Vacation,
Anna presents three new tracks. The original version of the
title song is a peak time track full of layered hypnotic
melodies and stirring synths, while the 'Drifting Mix' is
exactly what the names suggests - a more stripped back,
downtempo version of the original, which encourages the listener
to close their eyes and drift away. 'The Hive' shines with a
swarm of synths and an acid- tinged sting that will leave you
buzzing.
