Taking on Telephone Days, the Weird Sounding Dude remix immediately provides a sit up and take notice moment through its chest-thumping kick and high-energy, shaker-fueled percussion. Melodic soundscapes from the Artfaq original pepper proceedings, as a hypnotic motif shines through before a new searing lead-line punctures the textured atmosphere with ease. The pulsating rhythmic melange takes hold again in the third movement before the lead once again hits its mark in the final stages.
