'Barefoot dips your toes into the waters of a dream and very casually,
as if he's never visited the modern world, rows you from steamy murk
to aquatic paradise. These four tracks present a sumptuous array, the
layers and renderings of this familiar, yet rarely attended realm;
eddying microcosms and dizzying currents. Alas, it's an illusion, a
matrix thrown over the workings of the reverie, which unveils a
virtual panorama of digital organics. By Spirit Animal we arrive back
in our reality; data informs these murmurings, these chirrups and
twitterings; in the future world data is the lingua franca of the
imaginary swamp and the fictional jungle. Are we still dreaming?' -
