We couldn't miss the oportunity to deliver you another quality recording of his solo playing live; after all, it's been four years since the famous Tokio recording (that made it to cd). It isn't Gershwin this time, but Mehldau fans won't be surprised by the tracklist either; delighted to see that Martha, My Dear sounds as fine on solo piano as it did with the trio. As you might have also noticed, there has been more satellite versions of certain shows, or even cd press releases of them. But we would like that seen as extra work, because our main concern was - and always will be - retail cd music. Last but not least, it's imporant to announce that we finally cut down on our little smoked-out tagging with first capitals, dots on dates and all that. We tried to be original, but it turned out that it only bothered people.
