Though back then still spinning and producing trance, and progressive house, his love for techno would emerge fairly quickly. In 1998 he moved to Dallas, TX, where he experienced a completely different evironment for electronic music. His influences then grew into a much bigger realm, reaching from industrial (Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails) to Hard Techno. But as the production quality increased, he slowly but surly stuck with the techno sound. In 2000 he and his friend Stefan Anion started the AI Collective, trying help newcomer Live PAs to get their start in the scene. But after a year of doing that, the members of the collective started going their own ways. After learning more and more about production, his friend Eric Estornel introduced him to minimal techno and the growing tech-house sound. They grew on him fairly quickly, and by January 2002, he decided to start his own label Iron Box Music. With four successful releases under his wing, other labels (Poker Flat, Ware Records) started picking up on his musical talent.
