We thank you for all your support and feedback so far. But next LuckyMe are very proud to present Mute City Remixes - 3 unique takes from the EP. Mike Slott is one of the original founding members of LuckyMe alongside Hudson Mohawke. We released his classic Lucky 9teen micro album over 4 years ago. With this his first release with us in sometime we are overjoyed that his reworking of Extend Ranges is as beautiful meditative vocal song by Mike himself calling out that heÆs coming back to releasing music. In contrast, rising alt RnB star Autre Ne Veut rejects his usual fair to produce an instrumental remix that cuts up several different vocal pitches and textures to recreate the originals musical passages- the result is a skewed theatrical beat sliced with glacial snares. As huge fans of his work- especially last years Anxiety LP we are proud to have him involved in this project. Last but not least û young Joseph Marinetti provides a classic house percussion work-out of title track Mute City û transposing tiny digital fragments into warm Chicago keys interspersed with surging pads. Marinetti has a full LuckyMe release slated for 2014 and continues to impress with his underground releases and stellar guest mixes. -
