Records. The Cadiz-born pianist is backed on this ░█ █░ album by his usual band: contrabassist Pablo Martφn, drummer ░█ █░ Guillermo McGill, cantaor Blas Cordoba, percussionist Pirana, ░█ █░ palmero-bailaor Tomasito and bailaor Joaquin Grilo. Joining them ░█ █░ as a guest is Puerto Rican musician Jerry Gonzalez. The record ░█ █░ comes out parallel to the audiovisual version released on DVD with ░█ █░ the title 'Mira como viene'. ░█ █░ ░█ █░ Chano Dominguez Septet ░█ █░ ░█ █░ "Cadiz in the soul and Monk in the fingers". As Faustino Nunez ░█ █░ explains in the libretto, Chano Dominguez exhibits the flamenco ░█ █░ jazz duality that winds along the keys of his piano in 'Oye como ░█ █░ viene'. The Cadiz-born musician shows "how his language has ░█ █░ evolved towards mestizo and cosmopolitan grounds" in the eleven ░█ █░ tracks that make up the album: 'Tangos del Garraf', dedicated to ░█ █░ the Catalan region which inspires the composer; 'Solea Blas', an ░█ █░ example of the study of blues por solea; 'Monk Medley', where he ░█ █░ again sets his sights on Thelonious Monk; 'Oye como viene', a ░█ █░ reinterpretation of the bulerias included in the film by Fernando ░█ █░ Trueba dedicated to Latin jazz 'Calle 54' (Lola!
