L÷ffler and Eulberg share two lifelong passions û music and nature, and their collaboration on L÷ffler's Refu went beyond the domain of a mere "remix". "I was listening a lot to Dominik's first album when it came out in 2004. I really enjoyed it, not only because of the music, but also because of the references to nature, the artwork and the track titles. That's why I think it's great that he made a remix of my track, especially because he was really up for it and it was not just an assignment. The remix is definitely different than the original, Dominik took it in a direction I would have never done myself - beautifully varied. The electronic music producer, Dominik Eulberg, is a seasoned traveller and an enthusiastic observer of the natural world. Much like the changing landscapes that surround him, his sound does not stay still. His sets offer a compelling blend of groove and heady melody and have been heard at clubs and festivals from Europe to South America to the USA. No shade of techno or house is out of Eulberg's grasp, as he weaves together deep, hard, textural, emotive and angelic tropes depending on what the situation requires. "My intention with the track was to create a powerful and elaborate version of Christian's sublime work. It was important for me to preserve the apodictic flow of the original track, its antagonistic character with its silent, retentive breaks.", says Eulberg.
