Our first release of the new decade will be from the Iranian
producer Cold Face. He is setting the bar high by delivering the
track Light Blue to Nahawand Recordings.
There is a clear storyline in this track where the saga takes us
from a building intro where it feels like we are riding a wave
of pure trance. The wave goes into silence a bit during the
impeccable break but rises high during the build where the
melody which keeps the tune together is constantly there as a
reminder of what the story is about. Ups and downs in life are a
part of every tale and even in this song we hear the producer's
message, and this is the sign of a great trance track.
The main melody enhances the feeling of the metaphoric ocean
where the Light Blue takes us back and forth, side to side. Do
we reach a destination? Not important, it is the journey that
matters.
