Part of Summer Particles 2014 in July 2014, the Polish duo of Deep Fog and Cream (PL) produced a moment of magic with Kiki. Richly layered with driving rhythm, pulsating pads and searing lead line, the track was a highlight of an exceptional compilation. Alongside the original, Kiki now receives two further treatments from the UK and Netherlands' finest. A journey through trance to progressive and deep house has seen UK based Anthony Yarranton mature as both DJ and producer. His work characterised by the fundamental principles of deep vibrating bass lines, energetic grooves and subtle melodies, Yarranton's music has found its way on to some of the most discerning labels. From Armada and Baroque to Lowbit and Dopamine, his versatility has earned him the respect and support of the DJ elite including Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman and Nick Warren. A regular in the clubs of his home country, international appearances in Greece and at both John Digweed's Bedrock and Sasha's Last Night on Earth parties, have provided additional cachet. A regular on Particles, Anthony Yarranton's rework of Kiki sees familiar deep rhythms married to a carefully placed stab that resonates throughout the track as hi-hat percussion brings body-shaking groove. Echoes of the original make their presence felt in a luscious breakdown, before immaculate rhythms are brought to the fore once more. Dutch producer, Noraj Cue, has been submersed in music from a tender age as vinyl, piano and guitar played and important part in his family socialisation. Using all manner of electronic equipment and everyday utensils to satiate his musical desires, the rise of computer technology helped ease Noraj into the production scene. A half-century of production credits for fellow countryman, Paul Hazendonk's Manual Music, has paved the way for a rich and varied career as Lowbit, Balance and Tronic also feature on a high-profile list of imprints. 2015 continues to provide multiple highlights including a remix of Logiztik Sounds, while a Proton Music career in collaboration with Paul Hazendonk has seen remixes of Silinder's and Scotty.A complimented by the original track, Emergence. Now making his debut on Particles, the Noraj Cue remix of Kiki is a deft reworking of the original that blends the pulsating melodies of the original with a chunky rhythm section and immaculate additional production, creating a new motif with echoes of the original's bass pattern.
