"Doppler Effect" is meant to be emotional in the melodies & pads, but also laid back with a gentle acid line and varying drum patterns for groove. A dramatic bass lead hits on the drops to surprise the listener and create contrast. "Counterpart" is a more straightforward tune with two opposing but similar synth parts that each have their unique purpose in the track. The synth that leads into the main breakdown builds tension into the more aggressive melody that creates the climax. Both tracks were made with software in Ableton (Diva, Serum, Mini V, Sylenth & ANA.) I'm also a big fan of processing plugins from companies like Soundtoys, Fabfilter & Waves. Enjoy!
