ELUSIVE : Lars Jacobsen aka DJ Elusive has made a huge impact on the Scandinavian trance scene with his many projects to help promote the sound. As one of the leading figures behind the popular website www.trance.nu, Elusive has worked closely with some of the biggest names in the electronic music scene. He is also responsible for the trance.nu CD-releases, which have become by far Scandinavia's number one profiled series in very short time. The release of ".nu trance generation" has further strengthened his position as a promoter, always on the prowl for new unsigned talent. As owner and head promoter of his newly established "Conspiracy Network", Elusive has taken it upon him to help unsigned artists gain record deals, and so far all the artists he has chosen to work with have been signed. Conspiracy-Network also features two new labels, "Subsequently" and "Sacred Sounds", plus plans to arrange trance parties in Scandinavia in the near future. As an upcoming DJ, Elusive released his first mixed CD late 2002, entitled " Surviving the chills ", which is the first CD ever mixed by Scandinavians that have reached shelves in UK Holland, Germany and the US. The CD also contained Elusive's first track, a collaboration with Jezper Söderlund (aka Airbase) called "Euphoric Eternity" which became an instant hit on Norwegian radio stations. Elusive's trademark as a DJ is always being far ahead when it comes to the newest tracks, sometimes even years, while having the skill of reading an audience and playing the right track at the right time. Production wise Elusive has been building a private studio, which already have resulted in a monster hit. The "Rusch & Elusive" remix of "Envio - Touched By The Sun" is receiving massive support from some of the top jocks around the globe, and is a new signing to Armin Van Buuren's label "Armada". The future holds many new collaborations, and don't be too surprised if you see an Elusive solo project release out soon either. Elusive has been labelled "Scandinavia's most important new trance talent" by many of the leading DJs / producers out there, with his incredible skills behind the decks and his apparent talent as a producer, the future looks very promising for this young man.
