Born Perry ░██▌▄▀ ██▌▄▀█ Bernstein in New York 1959 to a diamond jeweler ░██▌▄▀ ██▌▄▀█ father and an artist mom, Perry eventually would move ░██▌▄▀ ██▌▄▀█ to Los Angeles in his teens. There Perry discovered ░██▌▄▀ ██▌▄▀█ the punk rock movement that was sweeping the area in ░██▌▄▀ ██▌▄▀█ the early eighties. Perry changed his name to Perry ░██▌▄▀ ██▌▄▀█ Farrell (peripheral), and began setting out to make ░██▌▄▀ ██▌▄▀█ music of his own. Around 1983 Perry found his first ░██▌▄▀ ██▌▄▀█ musical outlet fronting a pre-existing band called ░██▌▄▀ ██▌▄▀█ Psi Com.
