Dinamo Dvash is hosting Gigolo Records' Dj from time to time so stay tuned for future great sets. about Dj Rok (www.dj-rok.de) DJ Rok is a German Techno DJ, & producer from the early days of Techno. He plays in many good clubs & parties in Germany and abroad. He discovered his passion for music as a child & bought his first record in the Sixties, at the time there were no maxi-singles & no CDs of course. His passion for music has never left him. Rok's giant collection of vinyl records is legendary, & the horror of his friends who wait anxiously for the next time he moves house. When he was 15 he would DJ the end of the local disco in his village near Munich. The sound of this time is one of his main influences. Some of his productions take up the hi energy groove of the 70's & the 80's. His career as Techno DJ started at the end of the 80's when he was already in Berlin & the club music was revolutionised by the house music from Chicago & Detroit. The UFO, the mother of all techno house clubs in Berlin, discovered Rok. The next stage was the Tresor, a still existing milestone of Techno evolution. At the beginning of the 90's there were legendary Techno parties in old bunkers, ruined factories & power stations & since then he played at uncountable parties raves club events etc... From a 30 people place like the Elektro, to the Mayday party with thousands of people. 1996 was the turning point in Rok's career when he finished his first studio production with his friend & colleague DJ Jonzon, this passionate, but professional DJ & music producer whose main wage is the happiness of the dancers.
