The newly formed duo from Buenos Aires (AR) debuts os Subsist with an
outstanding LP that is going to make you fall in love again with the
best Detroit Techno.
E110101 launches a clear message. Follow your own path, not trends.
And this is exactly what they achieve with this time machine in form
of an album capable to revisit the many faces of the style that shaped
contemporary techno.
A ravey track full of hoovers and a touch of funk vocals opens the LP.
Followed by a tribute to 'A la Mills' 909 sound accompanied with a
groovey acid line. E110101 get then rawer with '19' and then go
straight to the Detroitish banger '66'.
Almost in the middle of the album we find '61', an Electro track with
a touch of chicago house. And then is time for some chord techno as a
tribute to the classic Detroit sound. '64' sounds like tropical soul,
and then the epicness arrives with some 909 toms madness in '71'.
E110101 leave the town at this moment in order to visit again the 90s
