An early interest in punk soon waned as Jules was attracted to the exciting Chicago house vibes emanting from the USA. He began DJing and setting up house sound-systems in his native North London whilst still at school, and there followed the acquistion of a law degree....hence the Judge prefix! As a radio presenter on the then indendant Kiss FM, his talents were soon picked up on by Radio One who moved swiftly to secure his services. He currently presents his own show on the station on saturdays from 5pm to 7pm. With a day job as an A&R man for Manifesto Records and regularly playing up to 5 gigs a week at clubs of all sizes all around the UK, it's easy to understand his popularity throughout clubland. He has also experienced chart success with the Hi-Gate project , working alongside Paul Masterson, and with his wife Amanda on her Angelic releases. Though recognised as a DJ that some punters love to hate, those who do love him are definitely in the majority! Another good set by Julesy.
