The name Gealdyr is a combination between the Gaelic word Geal (White) and the Old Norse word Dyr (Deer). 01 Jormungandr The first song of the EP is based on the Hymiskvida in the Poetic Edda. It's a song about the famous story of the God Thor and the giant Hymir who went on a fishing trip and came across the Midgard Serpent Jormungandr.
