This album has some surprising features, including Squeak Ru (AllFrumTha I), Ronnie DeVoe (Bell Biv DeVoe + New Edition), Sheldon Reynolds (Earth, Wind & Fire), Alisa Peoples & Cavin Yarbrough (The Gap Band), and long-time backing vocalist Barbara Wilson [a.k.a. 'Skyler Jordan'] -- who has laid down vocals on more than a few all-time classics such as California Love, and Stevie Wonder's Please Don't Hurt My Baby, to name just 2 among many others. This one has a bit of a wide range to it. There are some G-Funk tracks (both smooth laid-back ones and some more up-beat), some Soul/Jazz-y cuts, and some songs that are R&B mixed in with some hardcore grimey ghetto gangster rap - because why wouldn't there be? Overall this is a good underground CD that is becoming ever-more increasingly rare as collectors discover it's existence. And just look at the Microsoft Office '98 Clip-Art album cover!!
