Texas duo Glass Slipper return to Colour and Pitch, with a special
House remake of the 1977 Eloise Laws classic 'Love Is Feeling', with a
remix from Sumsuch.
"Eloise, Ronny and the Laws Family were musical royalty in Houston,
where I grew up" says vocalist Lisa Cork-Twiss. "This was one of my
favorite songs from her album "Eloise". Brad sent me an instrumental
track he was working on and I immediately started humming "Love is
Feeling" to it... I'm paying tribute to my roots with this
adaptation."
The other half of Glass Slipper, producer Brad Eller, provides a
crisp, clean, acid-tinged House music backdrop for 'Love Is Feeling',
as well as turning in a hypnotic Dub version and an instrumental.
Colour and Pitch founder Sumsuch steps up to deliver a raw,
atmospheric and spacious Deep House version of 'Love Is Feeling',
putting Lisa's powerful vocal up front and adding just a touch of jazz
in the breakdown.
