RELEASE NOTES ..:: ] ............................ This is a wonderful collaborative partnership between two great session musicians - label owner Glenn Morrison and friend Pete Lazonby aka PADRE. Releasing records on various seminal electronic music labels since the mid 1990's, Pete Lazonby needs no introduction - with the 2019 summer re-release of 'Sacred Cycles' on Renaissance Records replete with the Adam Beyer remix, we thought it would be a fitting time to release this 2 track EP of very experimental forward thinking electronic music. On the A Side is 'Learning Planet' - a warped and twisted motif that takes an epic journey clocking in at around 12 minutes in length - it is very modal music, not necessarily for the clubs and festivals but more introspective and deep. 'Cicada' is another modal monotone baseline record with subtleties that take the record again over the 10 minute mark - these works were done quite awhile ago and have been sitting in a harddrive to which we thought it would be remiss of us to hold back the catalogue - this EP is a symbolic friendship between Glenn and Pete, and we hope more art and records will be written between the two over the coming while.
