Gonzo-Gonzo bring forth breezy soundscapes with his ΓÇ₧Libertad release,
a tribal-infused four tracker packing tropical heat in two originals
and two remixes.
Kicking off proceedings with a minimalist melody ΓÇ₧America' slowly
builds up, texturised by a drum-heavy lead paired with a floating hum
loop. With added buzz and a Spanish spoken vocal, the track blossoms
into a breezy slice of electro-disco, as fun as it is dynamic.
ΓÇ₧Libertad' counters the breezy melodies with a charged atmosphere from
the get go, gearing up with a whirlwinding synth and undulating loops.
Permanent Vacation and Hypercolour alum El_Txef_A takes on a spacious
approach for ΓÇ₧America's' remix, adding acid lines and eerie synth
pads, but keeping the focus on the mysterious hum loop.
Acclaimed Mexican duo Zombies in Miami rework ΓÇ₧Libertad' into an
ethereal disco-synth exploration, complete with glitched-out pads and
8-bit-reminiscent patterns.
