The show is one of seven complete previously unreleased GD performances in St. Louis recorded between 1971 and 1973 included in the forthcoming live archival audio box set, Listen To The River: St. Louis æ71 æ72 æ73. At the time of the 1971 show, the bandÆs lineup featured guitarists Jerry Garcia and Bob Weir, drummer Bill Kreutzmann, multi-instrumentalist Ron ôPigpenö McKernan, bassist Phil Lesh and keyboardist Keith Godchaux. Keith joined the Dead just weeks earlier.
