The soulful voice returns on the track Stirring My Emotions, a selection she co-wrote with pianist Andy Langham, reinforcing her talents within the band. On the Milton Cardona composition Coquetona, Brun & The Latin Playerz turn up the Latin flavor several notches (featuring De Le≤n on Spanish lyrics) recreating a tasteful chachachß. But it's Gente Del Rio (River People), the Jaco Pastorious classic composition, which sets these cats apart via powerful creative arrangements that allow thinking completely out of the box. Also very special is the group's version of the Bob Mintzer composition The Great Chase, morphed into a hard-driven samba or perhaps even a space-age polka to others. Rumba de San Ant≤n brings the Playerz back to the "Blue Planet" safe and sound, grounding them to a funky Latin swing, headed by the vocal magic of De Le≤n once again.
