They made their name by winning the WBCN Rock & Roll Rumble in 1988. They also released their first EP "A.D." on Monolyth Records that same year. Subsequently, they signed to Island Records, re-releasing the EP "A.D." and full length album "Gods And Gangsters". They self-financed their 1992 release, "Continuous Soft Hits On The Head", on their own ABW Records. In 1993, local Boston label Cherrydisc Records, released their final cd "The Adventures Of Superdevil". The band disbanded in June of 1995.
