It can be argued that Iva Davies IS ICEHOUSE. The only foundation member of the band remaining, Iva has steered ICEHOUSE from its early days as a pub cover band, to the Oz Rock band which reached international success in the late 1980's. Of course, Iva hasn't been alone in driving ICEHOUSE. In recent years, Iva has had collaberations with Max Lambert, most notibly in the production of the Sydney Dance Company's 'Berlin'. John Lloyd, one of the founding members, has appeared on and off as part of the ICEHOUSE line up. Kieth Welsh, Anthony Smith and Michael Hoste also featured in the first official pressings of ICEHOUSE. During the 1980's, Robert (Bob) Kretschmer and Andy Qunta helped make successful the Sidewalk, Measure for Measure and Man Of Colours albums. Simon Lloyd also played an intergral role providing 'wind support' in the form of primarily saxaphone during this period also. A long term stayer on the drums has been Paul Wheeler,along with Stephen Morgan who both first performed under the ICEHOUSE banner in 1986. Others to have worked alongside Iva as part of Icehouse have been David Chapman, Paul Gildea, Guy Pratt, Christina Amphlett, Steve Jansen, Masaki Tanazawa, Joe Camelleri, Kieth Forsey,and even Brian Eno.
