Darkroom Dubs follow up on their latest vinyl only project - Darkroom
Dubs Edits by Skinnerbox - with a continued exploration into bridging
post-punk and techno. This time with a new release from a rising star
in Paris blossoming underground - Parisian producer, promoter and DJ
Id!r. Clint kicks things off with darting vocoder stabs and
reverberated drum whacks that build a rich sense of space. A steadily
punching Disco clap and distant, eerie melodies add intrigue before
swelling, filtered synth tones suffuse the tracks distinctly 80s
tinged track. Monday then melds sharp percussion with trippy, delayed
signals and bold, marching synth lines that sit the track comfortably
in big room spaces. No Dust In Vain drives a purposeful thud through
menacing guitar plucks and horror-movie vocals as tension churns
throughout. Manual Music affiliate Sigward then follows up with his
interpretation of Monday as he balances brash, thundering stabs
