Igor Dyachenko, better known by his alter ego, Igor Cold, is based in the business hub of Krasnodar in Southern Russia. From this industrial heartland, Igor has carved out a name for himself within the EDM community with a penchant for 'atmospheric tech and progressive house'. With his work catching the ears of established DJ's, his music has been signed to such luminary imprints as Replug, Stripped Digital and Balkan Connection. Not content with merely producing music for others, Igor also runs the excellent Somebody's Story label and radio show on Proton with high profile releases from Fran Von Vie, Scotty.A and Poison Pro. Midnight Passenger first appeared on Particles as part of the Winter Particles compilation at the beginning of 2012. Standing out with its deep, uplifting bass line and glorious arpeggiated synth lines, Particles is proud to announce a full release of Igor's track with two fresh interpretations from Tuxedo and Ioan Gamboa. Kill Minimal is not a name that is perhaps familiar to many, but under the production guise Ioan Gamboa, the German has found a sound closer to his melodic roots. In a highly productive year for his new alter ego, Ioan has seen his work signed to a plethora of labels including Replug, Lowbit, Baires and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat. With a live show based around deconstructing his own work to create a live musical puzzle across the continents and his own Madberlin based label under the Proton umbrella, Ioan Gamboa is a busy man. Never straying far from his newly found melodic roots, Ioan serves up a wonderful uptempo remix of Midnight Passenger. A smorgasbord of arpeggios, pads and stabs are served up on a plate full of strong rhythms that strongly underpin the melodic vibrancy. This is high-octane progressive house. From the historically poignant city of Gdansk on the Baltic coast, comes Polish resident Tuxedo. With a release portfolio that reaches some 150 production credits for the likes of Liquid Grooves, Stellar Fountain and a full-length album on Passion Fruit, Tuxedo has been a prolific artist since his initial work for Atlant Digital in 2009. Inspired by chamber and classical music and from playing guitar and piano, Tuxedo found a passion for harmony and drifting emotions which ultimately led to the foundation of the Electronic Tree label and radio show on Proton serviced by the motto, quality is the only criterion we follow. Remixing Igor Cold, Tuxedo's approach to his craft provides a signature atmospheric piece full of shifting, rhythmic pads and juxtaposed against off-beat, reverb-laden piano and a driving bass line to provide an interpretation that commands attention.
