Underground tastemakers Dear Deer Records impress once more with
another thrilling EP, this time from Ilu & Aaye with a remix
from Deorbiting. Ilu & Aaye are a talented pair of frequent
collaborators who have worked on the likes of Stil Vor Talent,
Rawls Music, and DIS Music before now and come correct here.
Dust is a spiritual house tune with shuffling drums and spoken
word vocals as well as tribal cries that light up the groove.
It's organic and exudes warmth. Sun then gets much more melodic,
building in rich synth layers with glowing chords and a real
humidity that keeps you locked. It is a deep but journey house
with a unique sense of magic.
The Deorbiting remix of Sun reworks it into something even more
astral and cosmic, with solar winds blowing over the drums as
big, bold chords add drama.
