Originally thought to last only for a single cassette production, the reactions to their music were so positive that various record companies became aware of the project and IN MY ROSARY finally signed to the "Discordia" label in 1993. But even though they got a deal, they insisted on releasing the vinyl 7inch "Flood & Dust" under their own auspices. Their official debut album "Those Silent Years" (1993) then attracted international attention and their second album "Under The Mask Of Stone" (1994) finally established the project within the worldwide Darkwave / Alternative scene. After 19 years the collaboration had reached its creative limits and was finished in 2011. Since then the two members run separate projects. While DIRK started the Electro band LAKOBEIL together with Tobias Birkenbeil, RALF and the former IN MY ROSARY live musicians Martin von Arndt, Holger Diener and Hansi Huenig set up the DarkWaveFolkPop project I-M-R.
