Prior to their signing to American synth label A Different Drum, the band offered to fans a collection of their demo recordings on CD-R for $10 US. Now unavailable, the Demo CD-R was developed upon and further tracks were added, with the 8-track Version 1.2 as the final release. Recorded between 1992-1998, the demo tracks were recorded with minimal equipment, partially in the dining room of a small apartment. While almost all of the tracks were later re-recorded for the band's successful debut album "Disconnect", the demo provides a raw interpretation of the band, helping to briefly capture the energy that is the small but strong underground synthpop scene. -AMOK Iris: Reagan Jones - Vocals, Songwriting, and Machines.
