Iron ║ │ │║ Maiden performs many of these songs much better ║ │ │║ than the studio version and the energy displayed ║ │ │║ in this performance is off the scale. The song ║ │ │║ selections are normal for a live album, mainly ║ │ │║ the big hits but this live album also contains ║ │ │║ many other classic and amazing songs from their ║ │ │║ first five albums. The four songs from Piece of ║ │ │║ Mind sound so much better live on this than they ║ │ │║ do in the studio that it gave me more respect ║ │ │║ for that album. The other songs are done just as ║ │ │║ good/ better than the studio versions and bring ║ │ │║ about even more respect for the band. Every band ║ │ │║ member performs perfectly during this release ║ │ │║ and the production is done excellently and even ║ │ │║ has Adrian and DaveÆs playing mixed to either ║ │ │║ side which makes it great to listen to on ║ │ │║ headphones. Bruce does a good job doing the ║ │ │║ vocals for the DiÆAnno era releases but fails to ║ │ │║ match Paul in doing the vocals how they were ║ │ │║ meant. This is the first live album I have ever ║ │ │║ gotten into and is very essential to Maiden fans ║ │ │║ and even casual fans of the group.
