Mirabella Karyanova is one of a new generation of modern electronic music producers. With an impressive online presence, her Ishome production moniker has shone brightly in front of the gaze of 10,000 followers. Originally signed to Proton Music from the elegant noises made from her SoundCloud offerings, the Eva EP provided an exquisite moment in time towards the end of 2011. Working from her home in Krasnodor on Russia's south-western tip, her combination of melancholic electronica and ambient techno wove an intricate pattern of beats and emotive melodies that spellbound listeners. After remixes of 7700m and Nothing from Mango, Paranator, Ormatie and Stefan Weise, the title track now revels in its own sunlit glow as Ukrainian, Tvardovsky takes on remix duties. Svatoslav Tvardovsky's stratospheric rise across the underground music arena has been noteworthy, not only because of the prolific and exceptionally high quality of his production output, but also because the Ukrainian's understanding and knowledge of the music industry has seen him form two extremely successful and highly regarded music imprints as part of the Proton label family. Over 200 production credits sit proudly next to the Tvardovsky name, allied to such esteemed labels as Moonbeam, Black Hole and DAR Digital with a flourish of activity in 2012 producing over half of such credits. Launching the Stereo Paradise label in 2011, and subsequent deep house and techno imprint, Dear Deer in 2013, Tvardovsky's business acumen and ear for the coming wave of new music is unrivalled, as success on both counts continues to build apace. A producer and remixer in constant demand his work epitomises a sound synonymous with rich, detailed textures and an acute understanding of what works on the dance floor, characterised by performances in front of expectant audiences alongside such titans as Guy J, John Digweed and Henry Saiz. A regular on the Particles imprint since a debut in early 2011, Tvardovsky's graduation to the flagship imprint has been seamless. Remixes of Poison Pro, Pablo Acenso and Juan Deminicis have been elegantly placed either side of hypnotising original material, as 2012's Infinite was followed the superlative Hope/Fate EP which saw the Ukrainian's stock rise ever higher. Taking on Ishome, Tvardovsky's remix of Eva immediately presents the listener with a trademark sound that has been cultivated over a significant body of work. Melodic themes inherent in the original form an exquisite bed as harmonious vocal cuts and growling bass line are accompanied by Tvardovsky's signature arpeggio work. Rising and falling with consummate ease, the additional production provides a counterpoint of exacting quality that evolves in the third movement to a rippling and poignant crescendo. Coupled with metronomic beat and driving rhythm, this is an interpretation that exudes confidence and quality. The attentions of a single individual have seen Ishome and Eva taken to new heights of ecstasy by Tvardovsky and his magical skills.
