Italian musical maestro Jasev makes a welcome return to Piston
Recordings with the fantastic three track EP titled Rescue Me.
This one follows his last effort here, alongside Antares, with
People EP. That one performed very well indeed, with support
coming in from all quarters. A deft hand in the studio and on
the decks, it's great to see him back for more.
Rescue Me kicks off the release with a sure-fire dancefloor
mover. Strong, pumping beats and warm analogue chords combine
along with whispered vocals which add intrigue. Next Up,
Dangling Man adds a little extra energy into the groove with a
nice tight drum section alongside a tough, gnarly bassline and
mesmerizing chants. Slow Time rounds out the EP with a vibrant,
upbeat groove. Striking chords and a groovy bassline provide the
backdrop to cool vocal shots for that enticing clubby vibe.
