West Rules records is founded in western Buenos Aires by Joaquin Ruiz
with the main concept of editing his own music accompanied by remixes
of great artists of the world's techno scene.
West rules is open to new emerging talents as well as established
producers without a specific style preference, but more focused on the
free expression of the artists.
'Signals' is the third EP from West Rules and it comes with two
originals from the label boss and one exquisit remix from Antonio De
Angelis.
The selftitle track is the one for the opening with pounding lows and
percussive arrangements. A Modular type note loop develops along the
track for hipnotic moments.
Right after there is the Angelis remix where he brings the vibe down a
nuge where he travels though tons of effects and ambient feel.
For the closing 'Space Trip' an Experimental sort of tune with both
drone and percussion approach. Nice energy and groove in this one.
