KLARTRAUM Ambient Attitude is the conceptual ambient project of Nadja Lind and Helmut Ebritsch, co-owners of the Lucidflow imprint. It is to be a series centred around a single long-form evolving ambient jam, growing one track at a time. While best known for their lavishly produced deep and dubby club productions, they are well versed at turning their hands to chill and ambient strains. Their sound is melodic and widescreen. If you use the works of GAS as a reference point, you're not a million miles away from the aesthetic of the pairing. Ambient, for some time, has been an increasingly vogue genre, however Klartraum are not simply turning their hand to an in demand sound. Their expansive chilled tracks have stealthily slipped into their long players - 'What Lies Within - Binaural Theta Ambient Flow' from 2018's 'Void Universes' and ' Flight To Berlin - Thalstroem Flow Mix' from 2016's 'E', for example. This experience has also spread from the studio into live performance, as evidenced by 2018's concert performance at Berlin's Passionskirche, where the duo took tracks from their catalogue and spun them into considered and expansive form appropriate for the reverential venue.
