Whilst hes not been slacking over the interim, turning out a string of more technoid house 12s as Dance System, its great to hear him back in the syncopated UKF style saddle here. The churning subs, congas and angular chord stabs of Junglism hail the way mid 90s rufige percolated thru, via grime, to the heyday of UKF, and Skanked surely recalls the best of that era from Apple or Roska in its jumpy, electroid parry. The latent grime influence on UKF bleeds thru on the bullish bass drops and searing leads of Low Pulse, with Mad Roll harking to Champions sinew- snapping skank, and Soul Motion rolling out like something from a classic DJ Petchy set.
