| Mati Zundel's (aka Lagartijeando) new album is a musical journey |
| through the beaches of Brazil, Bolivia and Argentina. Musically, |
| Lagartijeando has a spiritual cousin in Chancha Via Circuito, |
| although the former places a stronger emphasis on Andean and folk |
| string instruments. Like his spiritual musical cousin, he combines |
| electronic wizardry with South American folk music. Unlike him, |
| however, the music is less psychedelic and spacey, as Zundel opts for |
| a musical approach that feels more grounded. |

| Lagartijeando, as with his previous albums, felt it was necessary to |
| travel through the land in order to understand and experience the |
| idea of bringing together Latin America in the unifying sound and |
| language. |
