Infatti la band composta da Alessandro Gazzotti e Gualtiero Venturelli, rispettivamente bassista e chitarrista degli Amp Rive, band post rock di Reggio Emilia, incarna esattamente come suggerisce il proprio nome un'idea di musica che si basa sull'elettricit- della stessa e sulla sua rapidit- nell'entrare in empatia con l'ascoltatore. Attraverso queste due direzioni si snoda "Stories Of Daily Amazement", un disco essenzialmente pop con per= pi- di una concessione al post-rock e qualche momento vagamente pi- dream pop di grande impatto. Infatti ci troviamo di fronte ad un lavoro, giustappunto, di grande impatto, che nella sua prima canzone, "Yeah", regala vibrazioni immediatamente positivi. Questo non F un album che per essere compreso appieno necessita di chiss- quali ascolti: intendiamoci, "Stories Of Daily Amazement" "si lascia ascoltare ancora e ancora e ancora che F una meraviglia", ma F, in fondo, un album semplice e diretto, proprio come vi avevamo detto all'inizio di questa nostra recensione. Anche "Season", il pezzo numero quattro, F un ottimo esempio di come i ragazzi di Reggio Emilia sappiano il fatto loro. Lo avrete capito: questo F un gran bel disco, elettrico e veloce. To analyze this album it's necessary to start from an axiom: the LAMPO on "Stories Of Daily Amazement" is exactly as it should be: electric and fast. In fact, the band composed of Alessandro Gazzotti and Gualtiero Venturelli, respectively bass player and guitarist of Amp Rive, a post rock band from Reggio Emilia, embodies exactly what its name suggests, an idea of music based on electricity and rapidity which empathizes with the listener. L'unione F nata dopo alcuni esperimenti di live looping e di campionatura di suoni. La loro idea era quella di mischiare sonorit- shoegaze con l'elettronica fatta in casa. Da qui F partita l'idea dei LAMPO. I Lampo compongono e cantano in lingua inglese. Si ispirano a sonorit- anglosassoni, ma alla base del loro progetto mettono sempre la sensibilit- tutta emiliana dell'artigiano che inventa qualcosa in garage con pochi strumenti e tanto divertimento. The union was born after some experiments with live looping and sound sampling. Their idea was to mix shoegaze sounds with homemade electronics. And the idea of LAMPO started from there. LAMPO compose and sing in English. They are inspired by Anglo-Saxon sounds, but at the base of their project they always put the all Emilian sensibility of the artisan who invents something in the garage with a few instruments and a lot of fun.
