Nick started d-jaying professionally in 1996 at the most trendy club in Rotterdam at that time, de Danssalon. After having a residency of 2 years and playing at several parties, Nick was invited to play at Club Nighttown in Rotterdam. Firstly playing at Michel de Hey's widely respected 'Future...' Friday nights and then becoming a resident on Saturdays. After having played a lot around the country, he started concentrating on making his own music. Nick K is well known for his productions together with producer Sharam Jey, founder of King Kong Records in Germany. The duo produced amazing tunes like 'Shaka' and 'Don't Lie' on Airtight, the Hooj Choons sublabel. 'DonÆt Lie' appeared on 'Dark Drums 2' compilation from Steve Lawler. Hooj approached Nick & Sharam to go back to their criminally overlooked 'Don't Lie' and give it a new reworking for 2002, - which they did. Furthermore, Nick produceS under the Okazeon alias with STUDIOPAL F. Henderson. Tunes 'Raw' and 'Coming Home' were hammered by Futureshock and Tom Stephan.
