Right after ending another top season in his Barcelona residency
at NOM, Nick Varon returns to the label with a sensational new
release!
Well known by Sudbeat fans, Nick Varon's sonic journey is the
product of a long career that put him on the map of the best
Greek Djs around. Signed to everyone from Balance Music to Mango
Alley to Tale & Tone, his deep, silky vibes suit a wide range of
tastes.
Opening with title track 'Conclusions' were quickly refreshed on
Varons signature style. Deeply melodic and utterly beguiling
from the off, it builds nicely to the first drop where rubbery
bass gentle caresses the ricochet percussion and crescendo-ing
synths. New keys and a rhythmic woodblock keeps the energy up as
the synth line billow and sway into the main drop. On the
flipside, 'Underpass' is a darker companion. Saw-toothed synths
ride the percussions building a subversive tension into the
first break. Adding layers throughout, the track undergoes a
transformation becoming deeply hypnotic.
