The duo are established artists with a long history of releases stretching back over 20 years including Evolution's seminal Fluid Recordings, Hooj Choons, ICONYC, Krafted, Endemic, Manmademusic, A Rec, Sony, Columbia and many more. When they both separately relocated to New Zealand it became very clear their musical tastes and history bound them as artists and it was inevitable they would work together. This EP Rush / Kill The Groove is their very first collaboration and from the very first note it was a spark of ideas and a coming together of technique with a backbone of musical heritage. The remixers were chosen because of their impact on the duo from a long-standing perspective and a brand new one. Moonface has been a friend since Bedrock's Futurized had a global impact on electronic music. His unique take on music rolls you through techno, house and Balearic with a machine funk that only Moonface knows how to perfect. His footprint is well known and his productions are legendary. Bute is a relatively new producer but another human with a talent to coach beautiful, and unique noises from machines. His tech-funk sound is inescapably different, groove based but emotive, wide and deep.
