Zwischen Licht und Schatten 01:29.13 ] comment...: | Puppe Magnetik is the project of the Finnish Aina Virtanen, after studying singing, violin and piano at the Hanns Eisler Conservatory in Berlin she began working with a solo project dedicated to the rediscovery of Operetta music from 1920 to 1930 and then fell into a series of personal problems resulting from a long depression that forced her to stop all activity for two years due to hospitalization. In 2022 she moved to a ruined and isolated house in the countryside in Northern Finland, an area full of suggestions, lakes and legends and founded Puppe Magnetik making a first demo with 5 tracks that she will destroy herself. Its sound dimension is very eclectic and wide, traditionally European and sensational, first of all for its technical and vocal qualities, in addition it produces very varied songs with a neofolk, death-industrial, electronic, noise, dark ambient and almost metal matrix approaching Aghast, Dead Can Dance, This Mortal Coil but with its own strangeness and beautiful lyrics, set like diamonds among the dark notes.
