Ambitious, affable and passionate, the 21 year-old Ukrainian owner of two highly successful record labels and the name beside legion production credits, has risen to the upper echelons of the underground music scene with a tireless work-ethic and considerable talent. From a studio and business empire in the Kiev capital, Tvardovsky has continued to burn brightly (in spite of recent turmoil surrounding the region), grounded in self-belief and a classical musical training that has provided the foundations for current success. Supported by some of the most influential DJs on the planet, Hernan Cattaneo, Barry Jamieson and Denis A have all paid tribute to the distinctive Tvardovsky production sound, exciting the musical cognoscenti with each new release. A DJ career run in tandem, the opportunity to play alongside John Digweed, Guy J and Henry Saiz as well as running the Secret Reality show on Proton Radio, has further widened the Ukrainian's appeal. As he rapidly approaches 250 production credits, Tvardovsky's production skill and talent is indisputable. A catalogue of imprints have played host to his sound and the likes of Per-vurt, Moonbeam, and DAR Digital are among the fifty plus labels to display the Tvardovsky name. A score of credits on Particles were the proving ground for a career that has skyrocketed on Proton Music. Remixes of Poison Pro, Juan Deminicis and Ishome have been paralleled by remixes from Dousk, Andre Sobota and Yami Colucci, as June 2013's Hope/Fate EP took the underground dance scene by storm. Responsible for both the Stereo Paradise and Dear Deer imprints, the latter deep house label has gone on to become one of the finest in the genre with sales to match and adding yet another string to an already bulging bow. Now providing the brand new twin-track Warp EP for Proton Music, Tvadrovsky explores a different side to his musical character a new wave sound. Opening track Found Myself is a beautifully subtle dance floor opus that evolves effortlessly through swung groove and emotive motifs, full of drive and energy at its musical zenith. Title track, Warp drives forward with rapid hats and bass urgency as a soft chorus of pads provides a natural foundation. A clean, crystalline sound cuts through the airwaves like an acetylene torch while trademark arpeggios dance on the air like kites flitting playfully on summer breeze to create a groove-laden work that has roots reminiscent of electronic pioneers Tangerine Dream and modern branches very much in Tvardovsky's unique and talented production mould.
