The ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ Sidewalks of New York has the mawkishness, the ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ satire of Byron's Bug Music, only with far more ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ poignancy and an exquisitely cinematic feel (the ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ shebang is even referred to as an "Audio Film" in ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ the liner). The disc opens with the clip-clop of ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ hooves and a quiet solo piano take on the title ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ song--a motif that reoccurs throughout--that segues ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ into a blustery "Too Much Mustard," rowdy audience ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ in tow. Later highlights include a wry "Vos ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ Shlepste Mir Tsu Dem Ball Game," and Barbara ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ Walker's raunchy rehearsal of "Some of These Days," ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ with only Caine's piano as backing. Spoken word ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ artist Sadiq, who joined Byron memorably on ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ Tuskegee Experiments and Nu Blaxploitation, mugs ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ through "Nobody," and recites the sad tale of a ▓▌ ▓████▓▌ newcomer to the Apple in "The Bowery."
